For faith-based organizations, this conviction is explicitly grounded in the biblical doctrine of creation. God is a God of order who creates purpose, establishes boundaries, assigns responsibility, delegates authority, and calls humanity to faithful stewardship.

These principles also describe organizational realities that can be recognized through the language of leadership, organizational development, systems theory, and business management. Organizations naturally experience entropy.
